Welcome to the website of Michael Lam. I am currently a first-year Computer Science Ph.D student at the University of Maryland at College Park.

Honestly, I really don't get around to updating the static portion of this website much, so at this point, you probably want to head over to my blog, which I update far more often (although still somewhat irregularly). On "The Free Arrow" you will find a series of ongoing monologues about software, religion, politics as well as My Life (tm).

I have seen pages on the internet that have been littered with typos, flooded with spelling errors and held together by a grammar thread that was thin indeed, and the last thing I would want is for my website to be the same way.
